·     The promotion will be available in stores from Sept 5th- Oct 5th, 2011, or until quantities last.

WHY:
·     The promotion will allow customers to leave shoppers drug mart with a larger retail purchase amount.
·     The promotion will entice new customers to try out Smashbox at a great value.

HOW:
·     Each store will receive shelf signage, which will speak to the event
·     Renderings of signage placement will accompany signage.
·     E-blast will be sent out to Smashbox Canada database.

WHAT:  Phase 1:
·     Smashbox will be promoting 7 product categories (Camera Ready Foundation, Cream Liner, Eyelights, Eye Shadow Singles, Eye Shadow Trios, Lash DNA Mascara, and Eye Illusion), with a promotional “Buy One Get One Free” (of the same category) offer.
·     The offer will be available in store from end of August-Oct31, 2011.


WHY:
·     This BOGO offer will help deplete inventory of Smashbox SKUs that will be phased out of the Smashbox assortment this coming Fall 2011.
·     The event will allow our customers to stock up on Smashbox products
·     The promotion will entice new customers to try out Smashbox at a great value.

HOW:
·     Each store will receive easel signage and shelf talker (BB only) which will speak to the event.
·     Each store will receive wall/floor fixture clip on signage, that can be clipped to the shelf holding the category participating in the Double Take Event.
·     Renderings of signage placement will accompany signage.
·     E-blasts will be sent out to Smashbox Canada database as well as SDM database, announcing the Double Take Event.
·     SDM flyer presence to promote the event.





PLEASE ENCOURGAGE THE STORES TO SELL THROUGH ALL ITEMS~EVEN IF IT MEANS THEY NEED TO MIX AND MATCH FAMILIES TO MAKE THE SALE

Smashbox on TV

Hello SBX team,

I just wanted to share with you upcoming PR initiatives that will create a lot of buzz around Smashbox! So… “Lights, camera, and…action:”

As some of you already know, Smashbox is the exclusive, presenting beauty sponsor during  the Lucian Matis Fall 2011 Chaos Collection Show on March 30, 2011. We are delighted to be partnering up smashbox with one of Canada’s very own, well recognized, young fashion designer, Lucian Matis. National Trainer, Shawn Hlowatzki and Smashbox pro-lead artist, Lori Taylor, are creating beauty looks for Lucian’s Chaos Runway Collection.

You’ll be able to get a ”sneak preview” of Lucian’s designs tomorrow at 9:30am on CityLine. Lucian will talk about his upcoming show, while models on set will be made over by our makeup artist, Shannon Aloha with smashbox products. 

On Monday March 28, Smashbox will be featured on the Marilyn Denis Show! (CTV, between 10:00 and 11:00am) Jill Dunn, Beauty Expert on the show, will talk about spring looks, and our Fusion Softlights in Baked Stardust will be a highlight of the make-up segment.

On Thursday March 31 , Lori Taylor will be a guest at CP24 along with Lucian Matis (6:50-7:05am).  They  will talk about Smashbox looks created for Lucian’s Chaos Collection and Lori will give tips & tricks from Smashbox Photo Studios.

In Bloom Collection Alternative

Hi Ladies,
As you can see In Bloom Spring 2011 is selling out like HOTCAKES!! Although this is great, we need to merchandise something in it's place. See the picture below for an idea of what to put up if your in a store that I haven't seen yet who's sold out on the collection. Thanks ladies!

Replace the Eyeshadow pallette with Eyelights Beam and Strobe-they are still Spring like in color and replace Artificial Light with Eye-Beam double ended pencil.
