will be offering an upsell brush promotion: with the every purchase of a

promotion will be available in stores from Sept 5th- Oct 5th,
2011, or until quantities last.
WHY:
·
The
promotion will allow customers to leave shoppers drug mart with a larger retail
purchase amount.
·
The
promotion will entice new customers to try out Smashbox at a great value.
HOW:
·
Each
store will receive shelf signage, which will speak to the event
·
Renderings
of signage placement will accompany signage.
·
E-blast
will be sent out to Smashbox Canada
database.

WHAT: Phase 1:
·
Smashbox
will be promoting 7 product categories (Camera Ready Foundation, Cream Liner,
Eyelights, Eye Shadow Singles, Eye Shadow Trios, Lash DNA Mascara, and Eye
Illusion), with a promotional “Buy One Get One Free” (of the same category) offer.
·
The
offer will be available in store from end of August-Oct31, 2011.
WHY:
·
This
BOGO offer will help deplete inventory of Smashbox SKUs that will be phased out
of the Smashbox assortment this coming Fall 2011.
·
The
event will allow our customers to stock up on Smashbox products
·
The
promotion will entice new customers to try out Smashbox at a great value.

HOW:
·
Each
store will receive easel signage and shelf talker (BB only) which will speak to
the event.
·
Each
store will receive wall/floor fixture clip on signage, that can be clipped to
the shelf holding the category participating in the Double Take Event.
·
Renderings
of signage placement will accompany signage.
·
E-blasts
will be sent out to Smashbox Canada
database as well as SDM database, announcing the Double Take Event.
·
SDM
flyer presence to promote the event.
PLEASE ENCOURGAGE THE STORES TO SELL THROUGH ALL ITEMS~EVEN IF IT MEANS THEY NEED TO MIX AND MATCH FAMILIES TO MAKE THE SALE
